Welcome to the Pilates Studio
at the Honolulu Club!
The Honolulu Club offers a fully equipped Pilates Studio in a
private atmosphere in which to learn.
Through the use of
hundreds of
exercises, the Pilates method builds strength in the core
muscles of the body without building excess bulk for a longer
and leaner
physique. Pilates emphasizes correct body alignment and
awareness along with improved flexibility and mobility
especially the spine which can help alleviate back pain.
What is Pilates?
Pilates is a highly effective exercise system that was developed
by the late Joseph Pilates around the 1920’s. Pilates
incorporates current safety exercise guidelines, emphasizing

How Do I get started?
We recommend that everyone complete a one-on-one introductory
session with our highly trained certified instructors, followed
by five private sessions to establish a foundation in the
technique.

workshops:
Every month each of our
talented Pilates instructors offers a free workshop on various
topics. The workshops are available to members and non-members.
There is no signup necessary. And it's a great way to learn and
