Bodies in Motion is a such a special place. We differ from the ordinary health clubs and big club chains in many ways. We offer state-of-the-art weight and cardiovascular equipment access and services, but we are also known for our award-winning programming -- Boxing, Kickboxing, Yoga, T'ai Chi, Pilates, Dance, RoadRacing (indoor cycling), body sculpting, hip hop, latin funk, stretch classes, and so much more! Each facility offers more than 130 classes per week. We also have free parking and towel service for all members. You'll notice how different we are from the moment you walk through the door. Our staff take great pride in getting to know our members, not just by sight or by a number, but by your name. We want our clubs to be friendly and fun. Creating an exciting, supportive atmosphere helps our members feel they are a real part of Bodies in Motion. That's the way it should always be! Boxing &
Kickboxing The Executive Boxing and Kickboxing programs are taught by professional fighters who take you though their very own workout including: stretching, skipping rope, shadow boxing, combination drills, bag work, lower-body conditioning, and abdominal work in every class. You are going to sweat like crazy! The average person burns between 700 to 1200 calories per hour! You will develop a hard body look by stripping the body of fat while simultaneously developing long, lean muscle tissue as part of doing the program. The classes are unbelievably fun too. They're all done to music. Everybody has lots of fun as they punch and kick into the best shape of their life. By the way, we have eighteen national and world champions who teach here, it's by far the greatest collection of talent on planet earth. However, not only are the instructors chosen for their amazing credentials, but they're chosen for their charisma and charm and how well they work with people. And that's why classes at Bodies in Motion are just fabulous! Try Executive Boxing
or Executive Kickboxing -- Weights This is the only gym around that is never over-crowded, even though we've got the best equipment. Personal
Training RoadRacing The bikes look like regular stationary bikes, but they're not. They are really more like modified track bikes. It has a direct fly wheel so that once you start pedaling, you can't coast like on regular bikes. It has a resistance adjustment knob to help you simulate going up hills. And the actual positioning of the rider is the exact same as one on a professional track bike. Some of the bikes have the toe clip cages for regular shoes and the others have the special pedals for those people who get special cycling shoes. The benefits that come from this program are outstanding. First, you're going to sweat like crazy! The average person burns around 1,000 calories per class. And it's also a great full body toning program as well. It's obvious that from the pedaling alone you're going to be toning and firming the lower body, hips, thighs, calves and butt. But people don't realize that you're also going to tone the upper body as well from the positioning. You're going to be holding your body up and working your arms, chest, shoulders and back from this class. It's an unbelievable workout for anyone who wants to burn calories and tone up! Fitness and Aerobics
Classes All the classes
are done to music. And the instructors who teach here are the best
anywhere. They're fantastic! Remember --
We are never overcrowded. There are two reasons: II: Bodies in Motion spreads our membership out: At other facilities, all they have is weights and cardio equipment, and maybe they sprinkle a few aerobics classes on the schedule. Therefore, everyone goes to the most popular machines because that's all they have. Other clubs don't have over one hundred and twenty classes per week at each facility. BIM spreads people out. And our classes are so great at BIM that: a) over 60% of our members don't even step foot into the weight room or cardiovascular machine area ever; and b) each program is designed to be a complete workout so that you don't need to spend several hours at the club which means that you get a better workout in less time. Come see
how impeccable our facilities are. MACHINES DON'T MOTIVATE PEOPLE; PEOPLE MOTIVATE PEOPLE. Our whole program is based on providing more personal support and service to the client. This starts from the warm, "Cheers" greeting at the front desk, to knowing all of the staff and instructors, to having qualified, friendly and entertaining instructors workout the client each time they come to the club. The end result is that people enjoy the process and see results. It works! More than 60% of our members use the club regularly (average at least 2 visits per week). When someone buys a membership at almost any other club, and especially the big clubs, all they get is access to the facility and nothing more. Sure, they've got the machines with all the bells and whistles, and maybe a few classes here and there, but that's all they have. Nobody shows them what to do. Nobody helps them. They don't have any programs that help people learn what they need to do. And they certainly don't provide any ongoing motivation. No, people are left completely on their own. So they start to work out on their own. They do a little of this and a little of that. And then it's time to go. Generally speaking they're a little frustrated and confused. And this is if they don't have to wait in line. So they make an attempt a few more times. And then they get bored. And to make matters worse, they haven't seen any results. So they stop going. Why
does Bodies in Motion work? Most people stop working out because they get bored. Many people think that working out sucks because it is painful and they may not see the results they anticipated as quickly as they wanted. That's why we offer programs that change your mind as well as your body stimulated. Each club offers more than 120 classes per week in: Executive Boxing, Executive Kickboxing, Kombat Kardio, yoga, T'ai Chi, Pilates, Hip Hop, Latin Funk, Cardio Funk, RoadRacing (our indoor cycling program), body sculpting, six-pack attack, upper-cut, brand new booty, Afri-Brazilian Groove, Candlelit Power Stretch, Yoga Fairy-Tales, Power Yoga, Mat Pilates, Jock Ballet, Salsa Step, Cardio Swing, Ballet Pilates, Urban Attack, Muay Thai, and Focus on This! Everybody
knows that variety is the spice of life. Presuming this is true,
nobody will ever get bored of all the classes we offer. No other
club offers anywhere close to the number of classes that BIM offers.
We have 3 classrooms that run classes throughout the day, seven days
a week. 1. Shape
Magazine: Shape magazine sent in 10 of their fitness experts to test
out our program. Did they like us? They put our program on the cover
of their magazine and did a six-page story on our program. 3. Better
Homes & Gardens: Better Homes & Gardens in its special interest
publication called 'Eating Right & Living Healthy' did a spread on
us exclusively, 5 full pages! We were the only gym mentioned
in the entire piece. 6. Newsweek:
We had a great write up in Newsweek Magazine. When was the
last time you saw a gym written up in Newsweek? Click here to try out one of our special introductory offers today! We can't wait to meet you. |
