Dear Meridian Sports Club Members,
I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Meridian Sports Clubs and to introduce myself, and our company. My name is Wayne Patton and I am the new General Manager here at Meridian Sports Club (formerly the Nautilus of Marin). I have been a part of the Meridian Sports Club family now for four years. I started out in Century City, Los Angeles for two years, and have been in San Rafael at 1299 Fourth Street for the last two years. I am excited about this new opportunity and look forward to meeting each and every one of the members here. Jenny Beresford is going to continue being the Assistant General Manager here, as well as the Sales Manager. I am very excited to be working with Jenny and I feel the team we will assemble together will make the difference in improving the customer service as well as member satisfaction at this location.
Meridian Sports Clubs has been in business for fifteen years, and it all started here in San Rafael with the Coast Fitness Center on Grand Avenue. Chuck Grieve is the owner of Meridian Sports Clubs. Chuck is a physical therapist who has owned and operated multi-location physical therapy clinics since 1982. In the early 90’s he branched out into the health club industry, purchasing the Coast Fitness Center. Since then, Meridian Sports Clubs has grown to seven locations in California, including the Rolling Hills/Novato club, which has twelve tennis courts, two swimming pools, and two racquetball courts located on seven acres in Novato.
We want to take a moment to thank you for your continued patronage and support, as well as update you about some of the upcoming events and changes that will be taking place here at the Meridian Sports Club (formerly Nautilus of Marin). In the next few months we will be starting the remodel and will bring this location up to the standards that all of the Meridian Sports Clubs hold. Meridian is a company that prides itself on great customer service, member retention & preventative maintenance. We will be adding weekly maintenance on equipment as well as a cleaning service in the gym throughout the day! I will be giving you all updates from time to time, and once we get the permits to start the remodel, you will see the transformation from the old Nautilus into Meridian Sports Club-San Rafael.
We would also like to invite you to take advantage of the complimentary services that Meridian Sports Clubs has to offer. Please call the club to schedule your complimentary quarterly fitness evaluation and complimentary quarterly training session. Once we get all of the departments in order, we will also be adding other complimentary services such as an intro to private Pilates and more. It is our members that make Meridian Sports Clubs one of the top clubs in California. Once again, welcome to Meridian Sports Clubs!
