CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

BODY SCULPT:         Endurance based, total body muscle conditioning workout-using dumbbells, resisting bands body bars and body weight exercises.

CARDIO & CORE:          Work your heart then your core muscles with this combination of aerobic exercise utilizing the step, light weights or dance exercise moves.  After a stretching cool down focus on the torso muscles to improve posture, spine flexibility and abdominal conditioning.  Friday incorporates the StretchMaster.

I.S.T:                              Integrated Strength Training focuses on the requirements of the real world.  You will improve coordination, flexibility strength and power in order to improve your everyday life.

PILATES MAT:              Pilates Mat exercises strengthen and balance you from the inside out.  This class will change your body.  Based on the exercises developed by Joseph Pilates.

REEBOK CYCLE:             A high-intensity stationary cycling workout designed to work the aerobic and anaerobic systems.  Instructors vary classes with the music, speed and resistance.  Cycle rides may conclude with abdominal work and always a deep stretch.  Be prepared to sweat!!

REEBOK CYCLE CIRCUIT:          The combination of cycle and resistance training provides a great workout that jump-starts the metabolism for ultimate fat burning.  This format alternates 10 minutes on the bike with 5 minutes of resistance training.

SENIOR STRENGTH:         Diane Scott who is well known for her Senior Fitness Programs has designed this class specifically for older people to improve balance, coordination and strength. 

YOGA:                           Emphasis on strength, flexibility, balance, posture, breathing and inner awareness techniques.  This class combines different Yoga disciplines to give you an overall feeling of

well-being.

YOGA CORE:                A unique class blending the best of both Yoga and Pilates Mat exercises.  You will feel strong, flexible and taller when you finish this class.

                                     

Most classes are open to non-members for a $12.00 drop-in fee. Please pay at the desk.
