CARDIO / STRENGTH
ABS ONLY - This 15-minute class focuses on firming, toning and defining the abdominal muscles and also plays an important role in maintaining good posture and a healthy back. All levels.
AQUAMOTION – An invigorating water workout, which includes cardiovascular conditioning, upper and lower body muscle toning, and yoga stretches. Perfect for all fitness levels, those with back or knee injuries, and pre/post natal women. No swimming skills required.
BELLY DANCING – Belly dance is based on natural body movement. It is a thorough and effective exercise for every part of the body. Because of this, it’s great for all ages, sizes, and body types.
BODY SLAM – Are you ready to challenge your body head to toe. This class will incorporate cardio, strength, conditioning and flexibility using a variety of equipment. Be afraid…Be very afraid.
BOOTCAMP – This action packed class will challenge your strength, endurance and willpower. Our goal, to break you down (or just give you a good workout) and build you up. Join our drill sergeant for an hour of intensely fun training, where anything goes.
CARDIO KICKBOXING – Experience the power, energy and heat in this blistering TKO workout! It’s paced with jump roping, boxing, kickboxing and more! This dynamite workout will make you sweat and burn.
CLUB HIKE – Get ready for an outdoor adventure on the first or second Saturday of every month. Increase your cardiovascular endurance with a two hour hike and a relaxing stretch. Pick up a flyer for location and directions to each month’s hike at the front desk. Level of intensity varies with location.
CYCLE – A vigorous cardio class without comparison. Start pedaling and let go as your instructor takes you on the aerobic ride of your life. This class uses a specialized stationary bike in a group exercise setting; perfect for any fitness enthusiast, recreational cyclist or serious racer. Intermediate to advanced.
HARD CORE – A body conditioning class utilizing various types of resistance and your own body weight. This workout is designed to improve muscular endurance and tone.
HIP-HOP – Get a fun workout while listening to the latest funky tunes without the confusing choreography. You will experience a quick warm up and then total cardio for the balance of the class.
JUST STRENGTH –Take traditional body sculpting to the new millennium. A results oriented class using a plate-loaded barbell system. This class focuses on resistance work with moderate to heavy loads, incorporating current weight training principles. This workout is guaranteed to burn calories, increase lean muscle mass, and improve strength and endurance.
POWER LOW - Low Impact Aerobics just got better with high intensity, plyometric moves and fun routines for an effective, fat burning workout.
RACQUETTES – The Raquettes meet twice a week to learn different dance styles. These easy to learn movements are the ideal total body workout for strength and mobility.
SILVERSNEAKERS ® - Move through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and skills required during activities for daily living (ADLs). Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance: a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
